Helianthus Holistic Arts is a multidisciplinary holistic school offering certified aromatherapy courses, along with courses in Reiki, Mindfulness and general wellness.
Maria Fiordalisi, the founder and instructor, is a Level 3 certified clinical aromatherapist with the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), Certified Aromatherapy Health Practitioner with the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA), Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist and Reiki Master.
2021 Course Dates for Parts 1 and 2
March 2, 2021 to November 2, 2021 (9 months)
Tuesday evenings and one ½ Saturday per month
This program provides comprehensive knowledge to become a confident practitioner. The curriculum includes up to date information of 60 essential oils profiles, essential oil chemistry, botany & taxonomy, applied aromatherapy, anatomy & physiology and more!
Highly interactive, engaging, up to date and empowering, students gain clinical and professional knowledge in a classroom style (in-person and virtual) setting with practical hands on experience. Courses are recognized and meet the certification requirements set by the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists to use the trademarked designation of CAHP® (Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional).

My interest in complementary and alternative healing therapies came while searching for relief of my own stress and anxiety related symptoms. I was introduced to reflexology in 2011and quickly became fascinated to learn how the feet hold an intricate map of reflex areas that correspond to all of the glands, organs and parts of the body. I love how reflexology promotes relaxation, improves circulation, reduces pain, detoxifies and encourages overall healing.
I have become a strong believer that balancing the mind, body and spirit is essential to my health. After experiencing reflexology first hand and seeing the benefits, it inspired me to continue my journey of healing. In 2014, after two and a half years of study I became certified in reflexology. Today, I am grateful to have a part time practice where I can help others. Since then, I’ve obtained my Master Level in Reiki and more currently my certification as a Certified Clinical Aromatherapist.

A mindfulness practice can change your life. For thousands of people around the world, mindfulness helps to nurture inner peace from within, improve concentration and overall well-being. It’s the art and practice of being “here and now”.
Join me as we dive into what mindfulness really means. We will look to #mindfulnessmeditation, how to build a lifestyle that incorporates mindful meditation, the benefits of a mindfulness practice and mindful strategies to enjoy mindfulness throughout your day.
