I first discovered complementary and alternative healing therapies while searching for ways to ease my own anxiety-related symptoms. In 2011, I fell in love with reflexology, and what began as personal exploration became a calling.
Over the years, my dedication to holistic wellness has guided me to earn a wide range of credentials, including:
I currently serve as President of the Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists and as a Treasurer and Membership Director of the Reflexology Association of Canada – Ontario Chapter.
When I'm not practicing or teaching, you'll find me kayaking, hiking, reading, and spending time with family and friends, including my rescue dogs Kona and Kaila.
Alongside my teaching and practice, I write The Scented Thread -- a gentle, seasonal space for essays, sensory prompts, and slow practice. Each issue offers seasonal reflections and sensory pauses to help you cultivate balance and connection. You're warmly invited to begin with my welcome post, A Beginning, not a Bio, and subscribe to join the conversation.
My work is grounded in the rhythms of nature and the wisdom of Ayurveda. I practice around three pillars: Relax, Align, Balance. They aren't just words I use with clients. I live by them too, and they're shaping my own studies as I work toward becoming an Ayurveda Health Educator.
My work is simple at its core: help people feel better in their bodies, and give practitioners the tools to do that work well. Everything I do -- in the treatment room, the classroom, and on the conference stage -- comes back to that.
I'm building something I hope lasts. A school and practice where the work is done with rigour and care, where students leave more confident than they arrived, and where clients feel genuinely seen. Holistic wellness done well is not soft. I want people to know that.
